UNFOLD THE SECRET WORLD OF DREAMS

Hello, my name is Julia Spies. I have created this website to invite you to embark on a transformative journey into the hidden world of your night dreams. Over twenty-five years of working with dreams, I have witnessed the profound changes that working with our dreams can bring into our lives. It's a journey of self-discovery, understanding our choices and actions, finding support in difficult times, and awakening wonder about ourselves, others, and the world. The potential for transformation in dream work is inspiring and offers hope for personal growth and healing.

The introduction workshop will examine how to approach dreams, understand their unique language, and see how dreams can enrich your life. I would like you to recognise your mind's beauty, creativity, strength, and healing capacity. Just like there are natural forces that work in our body to repair physical wounds, we have inner forces that work to heal and grow our souls.

My approach to dreams is deeply influenced by my background in psychotherapy. With a psychology degree and four years of psychotherapy training, I view dreams as powerful messages from the unconscious mind. They reveal hidden, forgotten, and forbidden feelings and thoughts and serve as. They bridge the present and the past, our personal stories, and the broader context of our community, culture, and humanity's histories.

Working with our dreams is sensitive work. Wandering in the world of dreams and discussing our deepest thoughts and feelings in a group can be liberating and empowering, but it can also make us feel vulnerable. It is very advisable to be gentle and patient towards ourselves and each other. During our meetings, as the facilitator, I ensure we all have a safe environment to discover and express our hidden selves.
